About this website

The North Central Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Center provides many services to stakeholders throughout the 12-state region. As one of four regional IPM centers, the Center provides support to individuals, groups and organizations in the form of annual grants, networking with regulators and multi-state groups and provides resources to underserved groups pertaining to the various phases of pest management.

This website functions to publish news and other information to our diverse stakeholders in the form of RFAs, signature programs, publications and impact stories.

Projects

The Center supports stakeholders in the form of working group and critical issues projects, annually. As part of a national priority, the Center also maintains the Pest Alert program to notify stakeholders of moving invasive species. The Center also administers several signature programs of value to the region.

Grants

The Center annually issues requests for proposals for its two grant programs, working groups and critical issues. Working Groups support collaboration among diverse groups to collaboratively address a regional IPM priority. The critical issues program provides one-time seed funding to help initiate work requiring immediate attention until other longer-term resources can be secured to address the issue.

Stories

Our role at the North Central IPM Center is to help link IPM researchers across region and work with states and other regional programs to promote IPM research, adoption and evaluation. To measure and evaluate our impact, we like to report and share stories of communities who have successfully implemented IPM strategies and are reaping the benefits.

Publications

The Center's programs often produce field guides and fact sheets to help further the mission of IPM. Those resources produced with Center dollars are free to download.
